How can Finance Lead a meaningful ESG strategy?
ESG means using Environmental, Social and Governance factors to evaluate companies of all sizes on how far advanced they are with sustainability – increasingly a key factor in investor decisions.
The UN has set 17 sustainability goals. Institutional investors are increasingly insisting that companies adopt meaningful ESG policies. What do finance leaders need to know, and how can we incubate tangible ESG plans which satisfy internal and external stakeholders?
Join us in a campfire with sustainability speaker Susanna Hasenoehrl, as she shares her personal quest in climate positive investing. We leave ‘greenwashing’ at the door, and reassess climate-responsible investment approaches through scientifically founded and evidence-based lens in this chapter of The Good Campfire Project.
We will review the options and suggest some concrete steps that Finance leaders can use to identify and catalyse an ESG mindset in their organizations.
